Product Description
Angus Young is one of the most recognizable figures in all of
rock and roll. As the lead guitarist for AC/DC, Angus Young has
defined the stripped-down bare essence of hard rock for over
two decades, and his faithful Gibson SG possesses that elusive
and crunching rock and roll tone that so many players strive to
achieve. The Gibson Angus Young Signature Humbucker is a
bridge position pickup with an Alnico V magnet and special
balanced-coil windings using vintage enamel-like coated wiring
that delivers a 1–2 combination of punch and vintage tone. This
is the pickup that Angus himself plays, and it features shielded,
four–conductor wiring for series, parallel or split coil operation. It
is also fully wax potted to eliminate any chance of microphonic
feedback.
